Who We Are

Tim A. Reger, MABC, D.Min., LPC

Dr. Tim Reger is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Board Certified Professional Counselor and a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor with over 30 years of experience working with children and adolescents.  He holds a B.S. in Communications from John Brown University, a M.A. in Biblical Counseling and a D.Min. in Family Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary.  He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Psychotherapy Association.  He is an ordained Southern Baptist minister and the pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.  Additionally he has been involved in Christian camping for many years and is active with his family at Jan-Kay Ranch where he is also an experienced zookeeper and deals with many species of exotic animals.  He is married with four grown sons and several grandchildren.  He enjoys playing with his family, working with his church, scuba diving, photography and raising animals.

Deborah C. Nations, M.S., LPC-S

Deborah Nations is a Licensed Professional Counselor and LPC Supervisor, a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist and a member of American Association of Christian Counselors.  She is also a Licensed Vocational Nurse.  She earned her Masters in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce.   Prior to entering private practice, she worked in an agency setting for several years with victims of violence, trauma and crime.   She sees children, adolescents and adults for individual, couple and family therapy.  She specializes in treating mental health disorders, dual diagnoses and victims of crime.  She is married with two grown daughters and a grown son, and she is a grandmother.  In her spare time she enjoys competitive sports, gardening and photography.







SUSAN OUTLAND

After many years in home health administration, Susan serves as Office Manager for Paris Counseling Center.  She lives with her husband in the big city of Blossom.  She has two grown daughters and enjoys being a grandmother.  In her spare time she loves to read, travel and scuba dive.    

Kathy Roden Floyd, M.A., LPC

Kathy Floyd is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Gottman-trained Marriage Therapist and a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist.  She is also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy.  She earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Liberty University.  She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.  Her specialties include Christian counseling, marital and premarital counseling, mood disorders, stress management, chronic/serious illness and parenting.  As a stepdaughter and stepmother, she brings both perspectives to working with blended families.  As a former funeral director, she is experienced with end-of-life issues, grief and loss.   In addition to her busy practice, Kathy enjoys public speaking and teaching for churches, conferences and retreats, corporate trainings and banquets.   She was privileged to speak at AACC's World and National Conferences and has been published in Christian Counseling Connection.  She enjoys writing and thinks she has a book in her somewhere waiting to come  out.  She is married, mom to a teen son at home and stepmom to a son in Heaven.  She enjoys reading, church activities, studying the Bible, traveling, reading, visiting with friends, movies with her husband, watching her son play sports and reading.

BEST ADVICE EVER:  

How to pray without ceasing....make your first thought in the morning the "Dear Lord" and your last thought before sleep the "Amen" and keep talking to Him in between.  (my daddy)

Spinach-Artichoke Dip from Houston's in Dallas, lobster bisque, my husband's fried potatoes, chocolate mousse

FAVORITE MOVIES:

The Hellfighters with John Wayne, Babe (about the sheep pig), Downton Abbey (not a movie yet but the TV series was The. Best. Ever.)

Anything about Queen Esther, Christian fiction, British historical fiction, marriage counseling case studies

Go back to Israel (plus Petra this time), travel to Hawaii, learn sign language and calligraphy
